We are perfectionists both in the production of parts but also in building a relationship of trust with our customers and staff.

Being professional doesn’t mean being impersonal.

Or worse, unreachable. On the contrary, professionalism is synonymous with availability. We believe in our method, in our organization, in maximum precision, but also in dialogue with customers.

We work with brass bars every day, with unwavering passion and enthusiasm.

THE COMPANY WAS FOUNDED BY THE PIARDI FAMILY IN 1950. IT HAS GROWN STEADILY TO BECOME A LEADER AMONG PRECISION TURNING SHOPS.

Growth is due to word of mouth—the best recommendation: customer satisfaction with our pieces has guaranteed us continuous expansion.
The raw material—brass—has always been our reference over time, together with the key words expressed by the founders: evolution and excellence.

The first indicates the will to improve, regardless of the prominent position already achieved, the second suggests the objective to which the company must aspire every day. Technology and automation are also part of our everyday language, without forgetting the importance of human intervention.

YEAR

1950

Foundation of the PRD company by the Piardi couple.

YEAR

1976

A new production identity for the company: from artisanal to industrial manufacturing with the acquisition of the first cam-operated single-spindle machines. First collaborations with emerging sectors in the national market.

YEAR

1982

The new production facility is established, giving rise to the Ottoman company. Acquisition of the new multi-spindle machine fleet. Significant collaborations with foreign clients.

YEAR

1996

Corporate merger of PRD into Ottoman, unifying the production hub at the current facility. The revision of the production layout extends operational capacity to parts with diameters between 6 and 77 mm.

YEAR

2000

The introduction of 8-spindle cam-operated multi-spindle lathes enables the production of complex geometries and higher quality standards, ensuring access to new markets and application sectors. The integration of these technologies allows machining operations previously unachievable, with consistent geometric control.

YEAR

2010

Complete renovation of the finished-product washing department to ensure an excellent level of part cleanliness, respecting the environment and atmospheric emissions.

YEAR

2015 - 2019

Quality certification in compliance with the ISO 9001 standard.
ISO 45001 certification.
MES software implementation.

YEAR

2022

The introduction of CNC multi-spindle lathes completes our operational capacity, enabling the handling of complex components fully finished in-machine. Eliminating secondary machining operations guarantees the client superior quality stability and consistent dimensional precision on every single batch.

YEAR

2024

Complete renovation of the chip-treatment systems. Integration of microfiltration and controlled oil-cooling systems to achieve increasingly high-performance machining.
In a decisive paradigm shift, Ottoman extends its know-how by integrating the machining of materials other than brass into its supply chain, without altering the technical rigor of its origins.
